To Fall In Love, Click Here engages in conversation with literary appropriation and the practice of uncreative writing. The project focuses on how through alternative dissemination we can bring new meaning to text and address different audiences. This work focuses on how Tinder messages and internet articles can be utilized to have meaningful conversation exterior to the norms of online dating. The artist takes an article on Tinder, Marx, and Capitalism and then re-contextualizes it as an original zine that is disseminated though Tinder. Ultimately, the audience called into question in the article becomes aware of the conversation, and begins to question the way that the digitization of image, internet capitalism, and the shifting power structure between technology, the user, and the creator, mediate their relationships and their role in this system.
